- Airfield Lighting SOW The 633d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for non-personal services for an airfield lighting maintenance contract to be performed at Langley AFB, VA. The requirement will be advertised unrestricted and will be on a firm fixed price basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 541519 and the small business dollar threshold is $25,000,000.00. The requirement is as follows: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, and perform all operations necessary to perform a comprehensive package of diagnostics and testing of the Airfield Lighting Computer System by certified technicians with a follow up detailed report of work and actions that took place. The contractor shall inspect the ALCS semi-annually. Contractor shall also be available for emergency repairs to the ALCS as required. Please see attached SOW for more detail. The period of performance will be one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. The estimated performance start date is 1 Oct 10. The total contract period of performance will not exceed 60 months. The resultant solicitation will be a competitive RFP and a single award will be based on commercial procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number will be FA4800-10-R-0026. This solicitation will be issued via FedBizOps (FBO) as well as any amendments to the solicitation. Estimated posting of this solicitation will be approximately 6 August 2010. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Instructions for registering are available at the CCR website.
