Description
Bid Schedule Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-10-Q-0052. All offers are to remain valid for 120 days after receipt of offers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334290. The small business size standard is 750 employees to be considered as a small business. General Wage Decision # 05-2307 Revision 10 dated 6/22/2010 applies to this acquisition and can be found at http://www.wdol.gov/. Offerors must provide an affirmative technical proposal outlining their specifications on how they will meet the specific requirements as outlined in SOW with their proposal. Basis for Award: The Government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. Requirement is for Fixed Overspeed/Wrong Way Directional Detection System at Whiteman AFB, Missouri IAW the Statement of Work (SOW) shown in Attachment A. Prospective contractors shall complete the Bid Schedule shown in Attachment B. ** All contractors submitting a proposal are highly encouraged to attend the site visit.** **Only one site visit will be held** A site visit will be held on 06 Aug 2010 @ 9:00 AM. Prospective offerors will meet Kristy Svendsen at the Whiteman AFB Visitors Center by 8:45 AM the day of the site visit for issuance of a temporary base pass. Any prospective offeror shall RSVP to Kristy Svendsen via email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the site visit. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42, DFARS DCN 20100623, AFFARS AFAC 2010-0402.
