- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00189-10-Q-PZ39. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-42 and DFARS Change Notice 20100713. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 326140 and the Small Business Standard is 500. This requirement is 100 % set aside for small businesses. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: 0001- 2400 LF Pipe insulation, tube, 4" IPS X 1" thick, closed cell, flexible elastomeric thermal, manufactured without CFC's, HFC's or HCFC's. Formaldehyde free, low VOC's, fiber free, dust free and resists mold and mildew. Black color. 72" lengths. AP / Armaflex tube or equal. 0002- 2400 LF Pipe insulation, tube, 6" IPS X 1" thick, closed cell, flexible elastomeric thermal, manufactured without CFC's, HFC's or HCFC's. Formaldehyde free, low VOC's, fiber free, dust free and resists mold and mildew. Black color. 72" lengths. AP / Armaflex tube or equal. 0003- 2 RO Pipe insulation, roll, 48" wide X 18' long X 2" thick. Closed cell, flexible elastomeric thermal, manufactured without CFC's, HFC's or HCFC's and made with microban antimicrobial product protection. Resists mold / mildew. Black color. AP/Armaflex roll or equal. 0004- 35 RO Stainless steel band 1 / 2 " wide X 200' long. 0005- 2400 EA Stainless steel clip seal 1 / 2 " wide, winged 0006- 2568 EA Stainless steel pipe cover 16 gauge 304 stainless steel, 8.63" diameter, cut to 180 degree and 220 degree (two pieces) see attached sketch 0007- 40 EA Adhesive brush #2 tin handle 0008- 8 EA chip brush clip brush, 2" wide, wood handle Please provide FOB Delivered/Destination prices.
