Solicitation Number: HM017710T0107 This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-44. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a requirement for: 1. CommScope FEML1SC42-GXM02 62.5 Duplex w/1 LC Red Keyed and 1SC Red Jacket 2 Meters, brand name or equal Quantity: 300 ea. 2. CommScope FEML9SC42-LXM02 62.5 Duplex w/1 LC Rose Keyed and 1SC Rose Jacket 2 Meters, brand name or equal Quantity: 250 ea. 3. CommScope FEMLVSC42-KXM02 62.5 Duplex w/1 LC Violet Keyed and 1SC Violet Jacket 2 Meters, brand name or equal Quantity: 200 ea. If you are able to meet this requirement, please submit a quote in accordance with the stipulations set forth below. 1. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. 2. The total price of the quote should include shipping/handling to the stated FOB Destination and any other relevant costs. 3. Quote will be evaluated based on price and technical acceptability to the Government. Award will be made to the offeror with the LOWEST PRICE DEEMED TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE OFFER TO THE GOVERNMENT. If two or more quotes are equal in all respects, the Government will choose a winner in accordance with FAR Part 14.408-6. 4. DELIVERY: NGA / WNY 1200 First Street S.E. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) database as well as ORCA (www.orca.gov) prior to any contract award. Please submit the following information with each quote: Cage code, DUNS number, the date offer expires, line item unit price, and total cost. 1.0 Special Contract Requirements 1.1 NGA: 65 SUBMISSION OF INVOICES (MAY 2008) a. The company shall prepare each invoice in accordance with the Prompt Payment Act. Fax one copy to DFAS Indianapolis at 1-866-894-8007. DFAS Indianapolis prefers a faxed copy but will accept hard copy that is ailed to their office list on the face of the contract/order. b. At the same time of submission to the payment office, the contractor will fax one copy to Contract Specialist Harriet Saulsbury at 301 227-5759, and email one copy to the requiring office POC Benetta Bynum James at bynumjamesbenetta@nga.mil. c. Section 425, no person may, except with the written permission of the both the Secretary of Defense and the Director of Central Intelligence, knowingly use the words "National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency", "National Imagery and Mapping Agency" or "Defense Mapping Agency", the initials "NGA", "NIMA" or "DMA", the seal of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, National Imagery and Mapping Agency, or the Defense Mapping Agency, or any colorable imitation of such words, initials, or seal in connection with any merchandise, retail product, impersonation, solicitation, or commercial activity in a manner reasonably calculated to convey the impression that such use is approved, endorsed, or authorized by both the Secretary of Defense and the Director of Central Intelligence. (d) Comptroller General Examination of Record. (1) The Comptroller General of the United States, or an authorized representative of the Comptroller General, shall have access to and right to examine any of the Contractor's directly pertinent records involving transactions related to this contract.
