- This is a synopsis for a Joint Munitions Command (JMC) ILS requirement. The US Army JMC intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for W52P1J-10-R-0209 on or about 16 August 2010. This proposed procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 541618 size standard of $7.0 Million. The proposed contract is for a firm-fixed price contract for the requirement described below: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide assistance to conduct analysis and technical support in planning and implementing a JMC enterprise ammunition logistics strategy to meet the Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Commands (JM&L LCMC) Ammunition Enterprise Strategic Analysis & Execution (SA&E) requirements. The goal of this effort is to enable true enterprise management of the ammunition logistics base. Additional information in accordance with the Scope of Work will be included in the Solicitation announcement which will be posted at a later date. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Any solicitation for this requirement will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(1); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be issued electronically. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically monitor for any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The date listed above, 16 August 2010, is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. The date offers are due will not be issued until the solicitation is issued. ESTIMATED solicitation issue date is August 16, 2010. This is an estimated date only and may be subject to change. This synopsis in no way obligates the Government to any future award. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD contract. The internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/.
