- Description
- The FAA has a requirement for a "used" Piper PA31-350 Navajo Chieftain aircraft to support the FAA Airborne Research and Development organization at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, in accordance with the requirements identified in Part I - Section C of the attached Screening Information Request (SIR) No. DTFACT-10-R-00030. An alternate make or model aircraft will not be acceptable and will not be considered for contract award. Delivery of this aircraft to the FAA WJHTC must be made with 90 calendar days of contract award (final sale) in a condition that satisfies all requirements in Part I - Section C of the attached SIR. Offers shall not exceed $300,000. This full and open competitive requirement's North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 441229, Aircraft Dealers, Retail. The size standard is $10 million. Questions on this requirement are due by close of business 8/10/10 and will be directed to annemarie.ternay@faa.gov in writing. Proposal submissions are due by 2 p.m. (local time) on 8/26/10. See Part IV - Section L of the attached SIR for details. Any amendments(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at this web site, and therefore, is the offeror's responsibility to visit this web site frequently for updates on this procurement.
