- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health, Office of the Director, Office of Science Policy intends to negotiate under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1 (b) on a sole source basis with Sythosys LLC, 200 Federal St Ste 200 Waterfront Tech Center, Camden, New Jersey 08103-1015. The requirement is to provide a comparative regional study of impact to NIH ARRA funding analyzing well emerged geographical areas and the second initiative is for the Star Metrics initiative which is an interagency effort aimed at capturing actual statistics on employment and impact of R&D stimulated through ARRA funds. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541611 and the Size Standard is $7.0 mil. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, Competition Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis for consideration in any future requirements.
