- This is an amendment to Announcement PSNotice7004 "Professional Consultant for MTAO" The following is a "Questions and Answers" to Announcement PSNotice7004: Q1. How do I get a copy of the Solicitation? A1. This is only an announcement/notice/synopsis before issuance of the Solicitation. The Solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov. Interested vendors may also check Reclamation's website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. on or around August 9, 2010. Q2. Has the government determined or established a contract ceiling for this procurement? A2. An independent government cost estimate is established on all procurements. Q3. Would you be able to share the ceiling value? A3. No. This will not be disclosed. Q4. What will be the general expectation of this request for proposal?A4. This is MTAO's pre-solicitation for a consultant to "assess the health" of the Montana Area Office and make recommendations for areas of improvement through different methods, such as training. It is part of our on-going effort with the Employee Action Team which stemmed from the employee surveys, and a way to get an outside view and assessment. The Government reserves the right to cancel this announcement and the resulting solicitation. This announcement DOES NOT constitute a Solicitation. Questions in regards to this announcement and resulting solicitation shall be submitted in writing by email and no later than August 2, 2010 at 12PM MT any questions after this date or by any other means will not be considered.
