- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs - Program Contracting Activity Central anticipates soliciting sources and subsequently awarding a contract for an existing commercial off-the-shelf web-based electronic Link Resolver. A link resolver provides links between source (origination) and target (destination) databases. VHA's goal is to insure that the VA Library Network (VALNET) makes available at all sites the minimum of a high functioning, fully integrated, Link Resolver to manage and organize access to e-journals, aggregated e-journal databases, e-books, e-books packages, and other aggregated e-resource products. This is not a solicitation announcement. A request for quotation will be published on or about July 28, 2010. This notice is for informational purposes only. Responses to this notice and other supporting material may be sent electronically to the attention of Adrian Cadena, Contracting Specialist, The Department of Veterans Affairs PCAC, 10000 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH, 44141. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to the presolicitation are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements. The presolicitation is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of future solicitations.
