- RFI VA798-10-RI-0181 Questions and Answers 1 through 15 1.The response date is listed in the solicitation and on FBO as Monday August 1, 2010 at 3PM. As 8/1/2010 is actually Sunday, are we correct to assume the due date/time is Monday 8/2 at 3PM? *Answer: Monday, August 2nd, 2010 is the intended due date. 2.Could you be a little more specific with what type of documentation you want turned in by Monday for the Sources Sought? *Answer: Documentation of corporate capabilities in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to complete the requirement. In addition, submit any lessons learned and best commercial practices that would be utilized for the Business Modernization Services requirement. 3.Who is the Incumbent? If no incumbent is this new work? *Answer: Part of the requirement is currently being performed by Associated Veterans, LLC. 4.If a previous contract was in place for this Source effort, what is the contract number for that project? *Answer: Part of the requirement is currently being performed in VA's Tactical Project Management Support Contract (VA-345-P-0022.) 5.What may be the Period of Performance? *Answer: A base year with 4 one year options is the most likely scenario. 6.Who, or what company, developed the requirements for this Source Sought? *Answer: The requirement was developed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The requiring organization is the Veterans Benefits Administration. 7.What might be the anticipated Special Set Asides? *Answer: SDVOSB and VOSB firms. 8.What might be the anticipated Facility Clearance Requirement? *Answer: National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI.) 9.What might be the anticipated Employee Security Requirement? *Answer: National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI.), if VA systems are accessed. 10.What might be the anticipated Est. Amount of this Source Sought? *Answer: We do not release this information. 11.Might there be a sole source requirement for this effort? *Answer: No. 12.Are you requesting Capabilities Statements regarding our IT services or our ability to staff the personnel requested or both? *Answer: Statements of IT capabilities and services provided will help to establish your firm's organizational competency in the services required, while staffing information will help us assess whether or not your firm can scale to meet our needs. 13.At this time, I am inquiring if this RFI, when it comes out, will it be solicited off of the GSA MOBIS schedule? *Answer: Unknown right now. 14.Could you please confirm if there is a set aside requirement on this RFI and clarify the nature of the set-aside? *Answer: We are specifically looking to see what SDVOSB and VOSB firms exist that may be able to satisfy the services requested in this requirement. 15.Can you adjust this RFI to include HUBZone companies? *Answer: Any prospective offeror may respond to this RFI.
