Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or Request for Quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC) is seeking eligible businesses that can provide labor and material to completely flush the O2N2 System and Main Heat Exchanger and associated piping onboard the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20). The period of performance for this work is 28 August to 20 September 2010. The appropriate NAICS code is 238220. Based on market research performed by the Military Sealift Fleet Support Command to date, it is believed that Gas Equipment Engineering Corporation, Inc. is the only responsible source that can provide the supplies and services required for this requirement as they are the only firm certified by NAVSEA to perform this work. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command requests positive feedback from industry regarding their ability to provide the required services in the necessary time frame. This is neither a solicitation nor a request for proposal; however, the Military Sealift Fleet Support Command will consider relevant information received in response to this notice. The Government is not obligated and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought notice. If any other firms believe they can support these requirements, please provide a qualifications statement addressing, at a minimum, (1) relevant experience including experience performing similar work within the last five years, including contract number, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, (2) company profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code, and statement regarding small business designation and status to melanie.barrett@navy.mil or clenton.shanks@navy.mil by 1:00pm (EST) on 5 August 2010.
