- This posting is not a solicitation; offers are not called for at this time. The VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHCS) seeks potential sources for an Integrated OR system for surgical video distribution, capture, and viewing. Currently, the only source the VANCHCS is aware of is Alliant Enterprises, LLC dba Alliant Healthcare Products. As such, the VANCHCS seeks potential offerors who can provide the items listed below or comparable items. Qualified offerors shall provide a description and explanation of their Integrated OR system. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposals will be issued following this special notice. Contract award is anticipated to be in September 2010. The solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instruments, with a size standard of 500 employees. Responders should indentify if they are a small business or small disadvantaged business concern, based on this NAICS code. A general list of items is provided in this notice; see below. Please submit expressions of interest in your own format to include documentation of corporate capabilities in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It you intend to provide comparable items, please provide documentation in sufficient detail for the government to determine if your product would successfully integrate with the current system. Please ensure responses do not exceed ten (10) pages (excluding a title page); all pages that exceed the 10 page limit will be destroyed. Since this is a Sources Sought Announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
