- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has awarded a fixed price contract to REM Commercial under HSTS01-10-C-RES236 in response to our solicitation for "Janitorial Services for the TSA at Akron-Canton Regional Airport" in North Canton, Ohio. The total contract value is $209,659.80 with a total period of performance, including option periods, of five (5) years. The performance period consists of one 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods; effective August 1, 2010. The contractor will provide janitorial maintenance service, seven (7) days a week for approximately 4,453 square feet of TSA-occupied space and checkpoint space. The secure and non-secure service areas include: checkpoint space, baggage screening equipment/baggage areas, break/training room and office space. Contractor employees will be required to meet all TSA and airport security screening requirements which include a criminal history, background and fingerprint check.
