- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Biomark, for a firm-fixed price purchase order for the purchase of Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) tags under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(2) and Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act 1996. Firms believing they can provide the PIT tags must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations and award of this requirement will not be delayed to qualify a new contractor. The supply item to be delivered is described below. The principal components of the PIT tags are as follows: 8mm Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) Tags: 500 EA-Unique alphanumeric codes for individual tags (each tag different/unique)-134.2 kHz ISO frequency -Maximum dimensions 8.5 mm long and 2.15 mm diameter-Compatible with Biomark reader models FS2001F-ISO, FS1001M, and FS1001A 12mm Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) Tags: 15,000 EA-Unique alphanumeric codes for individual tags (each tag different/unique)-134.2 kHz ISO frequency -Maximum dimensions 12.5 mm long and 2.1 mm diameter-Compatible with Biomark reader models FS2001F-ISO, FS1001M, and FS1001A Responses should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. Firms should identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 334220 which is 750 employees.
