Solicitation Number WC133R-10-RQ-1006 for Buoys. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to issue a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract for Surface Velocity Profiler (SVP), Mini-Drogue Drifting Buoys for the NOAA Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), Atlantic Oceanic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) Drifter Operations Center located in Miami, Florida. Contractors are responsible for furnishing all the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities, except as otherwise specified to provide the equipment in accordance with very strict scientific standards and specifications, for availability to NOAA and its associated research partners throughout the world. The period of performance is from the date of a contract award, which is anticipated to be on or about September, 2010, through five years thereafter. Attached is solicitation number WC133R-10-RQ-1006 which provides all information and instructions needed to provide a proposal for this requirement. The Eastern Acquisition Division requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. In addition, completion of the online representation and certifications application (ORCA) is required, and registration with Vets 100, located at https://vets100.vets.dol.gov.
