- RFQ for biometrician services to review and finalize a draft sampling scheme. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for biometrician services to review and finalize a draft sampling scheme per the attached request for quotes RFQ NMFS AKR-10-0730 prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13. This procurement is subject to full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541690. This is a simplified acquisition estimated value not to exceed $100,000.00. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Alaska Region requires a biometrician to review and finalize a draft sampling scheme to ensure NMFS is able to obtain statistically valid estimates of marine mammal mortality and serious injury incidental to fishing operations in the Southeast Alaska drift gillnet fishery, to provide in-season advising as field conditions change, and to conduct a statistical analysis of marine mammal and sea bird bycatch bserved during data collection. NOAA NMFS Alaska Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
