Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS AWARDED THE ARCHITECT ENGINEERING SERVICES INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULLTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT NUMBER IBM09D0006 WITH TETRA TECH, INC., IBM09D0007 WITH MWH, AND IBM09D0008 WITH URS GROUP, INC. RECOVERY – The requirement is for the contractor to design rehabilitation improvements for the Vado Segment encroaching on Railroad Right of Way (ROW) located within the Rio Grande Canalization Flood Control Project (RGCFCP). The reach, CE1, is a small part of the Canutillo Levee Segment located within the vicinity of Vado in Dona Ana County, NM, for a distance of approximately 1.08 levee miles. The contractor shall provide design requirements to include design of levee/floodwall system in order to address a ROW restriction; engineered designs; prepare plan and profile drawings; modifications to affected structures; prepare specifications; prepare an opinion of probable cost for construction; prepare design reports; conduct surveys; provide bidding services; conduct geotechnical testing and analysis; perform laboratory analysis; develop and submit geotechnical memorandum; and conduct geologic/geophysical studies; Also, the contractor shall prepare, update and present project schedule(s); conduct site assessment; attend meetings; prepare/submit monthly reports; and prepare and submit minutes of meetings as required. THE RESULTING NEGOTIATED TASK ORDER MAY BE SYNOPSIZED AND ISSUED UNDER THE SUCCESSFULLY COMPETED AND EXISTING FIRM FIXED PRICE MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ A-E SERVICES CONTRACT(S) REFERENCED ABOVE.
