- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Implementation of Chemistry AerosolCoupling for informational purposes only which was posted on 3/30/2010You are notifiedthat the following changes are made: The GEOS-5 model (with its aerosol/chemistryinteraction added under this task order) will be modified so that it can read inmeteorological data from global atmospheric dynamics models other than GEOS-5, forexample NOAAs Global Forecast (GFS) model.To ensure that the changes to the GEOS-5 model are done correctly, output from theupdated GEOS-5 model will be compared to previously generated GEOS-5 model output. Theinput data for both of these model runs will be identical and therefore, the output fromboth models should be identical if the changes are done correctly.The due date for responses is not extended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunitieshome page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation andany amendments.
