- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiation with Thales Inc., located in France. The procurement is for the repair and calibration of Peculiar Support Equipment for the Harmonization Bench B19606BA00 calibration at Camp Pendleton. Thales Inc is the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) of the Harmonization Bench. Thales Inc. holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications, and data necessary to provide the required repairs. The Government does not have the detailed data available for this effort. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
