- VETERANS AFFAIRS WANTS TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield 9,000 TO 10,000 net usable square feet in Corpus Christi, Texas for clinical use. The space must be continuous on no more than one (1) floor and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. On-site parking for 60 vehicles is required. A lease for up to 10 years will be considered. Properties within the Corpus Christi, TX city limits will be considered.. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by the VA. The Department of Veterans Affairs is limited by law ( 40 U.S.C. 278a as amended by 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for space.
