- The AN/SRQ-4(Ku) accepts voice from the voice switchboard and command control information from the Ship Data Processor Unit; SDPU (AN/UYK-20, AN/UYK-43, AN/UYK-44 or later ship upgrades control and interface processor), and optional TCS workstation interface; and transmits that information uplink via microwave radiation to the uplink receive voice and command control channel of the Radio Terminal Set, AN/ARQ-58/ARQ-59. The AN/SRQ-4(Ku) receives microwave radiation from the AN/ARQ-58/ARQ-59. The downlink data consists of airborne sensor data, equipment status, and voice communications. The AN/SRQ-4(Ku) formats and distributes the data to the appropriate ship's equipment. The AN/ARQ-58/ARQ-59 shall receive radiated microwave signals containing command and control data as well as voice communication from an AN/SRQ-4(Ku) via the uplink command and control channel. The received data shall be detected, formatted, and transferred to the MH-60R Mission Computer for control of the airborne equipment and the voice data output to the communications subsystem. The equipment shall accept, format, and transmit airborne sensor data, voice, and control status data as radiated microwave signals to the AN/SRQ-4(Ku) for use by the ship. The anticipated contract type is fixed price. Interested sources shall be capable of manufacturing hardware to meet the following delivery schedule: FY12 -- 8 SRQ units, 34 ARQ FY13 -- 8 SRQ units, 24 ARQ FY14 -- 8 SRQ units, 46 ARQ FY15 -- 11 SRQ units, 45 ARQ FY16 -- 10 SRQ units, 34 ARQ FY17 -- 10 SRQ units, 25 ARQ Deliveries should commence no later than 24 months ARO and completed no later than 36 months ARO. Please use the following as the subject in the email: CDL Hawklink Request for Information. All information shall be submitted no later than 13 August 2010. Any information that an interested vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Interested vendors should include a summary no greater than 10 pages of their qualifications, which should include their abilities to meet the technical and schedule requirements as well as any experience on other similar efforts, as part of their response. This is a market survey requesting information only. The submission of this information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for any information prepared and submitted by interested sources. Responses to this notice will not be accepted as offers and no award should be anticipated from this process. This notice is issued in accordance with the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10.
