- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Northeast Region has a requirement for Construction Services involving the furnishing and installing of horizontal slide security gates at the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Philadelphia, PA. The work under this project consists of furnishing and installing motor operated, cantilevered, horizontal slide security gates at the main entrance to the refuge headquarters complex, the dike roadway entrance and the entrance to the maintenance yard. This procurement is a small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238290 with a small business size standard of $14 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation package, including technical specifications, and proposal documents will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about August 11, 2010. The period of performance is 90 days after notice to proceed. Proposals will be due on September 13, 2010 by 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time). Interested contractors must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov, to be eligible for award. A site visit can be arranged between August 12th and September 3, 2010 by contacting POC listed on Statement of Work. Location of site visit is the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Department of Labor Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply to this work.
