- Customs and Border Protection intends to award a sole source award for storage services to Omnifics under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The purpose of this sole source is to only fulfill an immediate bonafide need of the government. Customs and Border Protection requires storage to meet mission requirements. As an authorized dealer of Haworth furniture, Omnifics has been providing storage services to Customs and Border Protection since the purchase, installation, and re-configuration of Haworth furniture. They are the only known vendor that can satisfy the immediate need of the government since they do not allow other vendors to enter their warehousing facility. This acquisition is being procured under FAR part 13 and will result in the issuance of one (1) blanket purchase agreement.
