- Subject R- Sources sought for information and planning purposes for qualified and experienced sources for a contract vehicle that provides two training specialist as required by FISC Norfolk, in support of Naval Special Warfare Group Four, located at Little Creek, Virginia. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a contract vehicle that requires the contractor to provide professional, technical, and or administrative services. The anticipated contract shall provide subject matter experts/instructors in small arms marksmanship, team shooting, ground combat tactics, Military Operations Urban Terrain/Close Quarters Combat, tactical convoy operations and driving. Train designated personnel in basic Ground-Combat Skills (BGS) and convoy operations, utilizing current approved Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Tactics Techniques. The prospective contractor shall have the capacity to provide two training specialist who can perform the specified work. The proposed contract is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single award, with a base year and four one-year option periods to commence 30 September 2010. The anticipated contract will be a 100% Small Business 8(a) Set A-side. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS Code is 561499, All Other Business Support Services, and the Size Standard is $6.5 M. Your response shall include the following information and can be submitted in your own format: Size of company, i.e., 8(a), revenue for the past 3 years, relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back 3 years and your company's capability to perform this type of work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition as specified in the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Standard company brochures will not be reviewed. Submissions are not to exceed five (5) standard size typewritten pages. A draft PWS shall be posted with this notice for your reference. Responses should be submitted electronically to both Scott Wilkins at scott.wilkins@navy.mil and Yvonne Copeland at yvonne.copeland@navy.mil by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 29 July 2010. Again, this is not a request for a proposal or a solicitation. Respondents will not be notified of the results.
