- North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333518. This procurement is for the purchase of one (1) each Wire Mesh Belt Abrasive Blast Machine in support of various production programs at Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, Kentucky. This unit shall come complete with a media recovery and dust collection system. The system shall be supplied as a turnkey unit. The abrasive blast machine shall be designed to effectively and efficiently grit blast various metal parts. This unit will be used to blast containers, flat plates, weldments, ammo cans, ammo pallets used in military air drops and a variety of other metal objects (36w by 36h maximum size). This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside. A detailed Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation. The solicitation will include a one-year option period permitting the Government to procure additional machine accessories identified in the solicitation. The abrasive blast system shall be delivered 16 weeks after mechanical/electrical and installation drawings are approved by the Government. The overall project time line shall be completed in 26 weeks from start (award of contract) to finish (equipment acceptance). FOB Destination, Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, KY. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Electronic bid submission will ONLY be accepted in response to this solicitation IF and ONLY IF the completed solicitation is included as an attachment in its ENTIRETY. Otherwise, all proposals must be mailed in by the specified date and time. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). Approximate issue date for solicitation W52P1J-10-T-3034 is 13 Aug 2010 with an approximate proposal due date 06 Sep 2010. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
