- The U.S. Forest Service has a requirement for the providing and installation of a new vault toilet building, aggregate placement, minor grading and concrete sidewalk placement on the Pisgah Ranger District in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The successful contractor will provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform the work. The solicitation will be a low price technically acceptable procurement. Past performance, experience and price will be evaluation factors considered in the selection of the successful contractor. The size standard for this HUBZONE set-aside solicitation is $33.5 million under NAICS code 236210. The solicitation should be available on this website on or about August 12, 2010. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the site on August 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Details will be included in the solicitation. Contractors are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend the pre-bid meeting. Contractors must register on this site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The contractor is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
