- Change to delivery requirements from delivery to forests (WY, CO, and SD) to one consolidated delivery point back to the original pick-up site (R2 USFS HQ 740 Simms St, Golden, CO). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for furnishing 7 x Type 6 Fire Apparatus, 1 each installation on government-provided vehicle which shall be pick-uped and returned to R2 USFS HQ located at 740 Simms St, Golden, Colorado, 80401. SCHEDULE OF ITEMS Furnish Fire Apparatus in accordance with these provisions, conditions, and specifications. Cab and chassis to be picked up at 740 Simms St, Golden, Colorado, 80401, and upon completion, returned to the original pick-up location. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GENERAL The utility body described in this specification shall be mounted on Government furnished F550 cab and chassis. Government furnished cab and chassis shall be picked up by the apparatus manufacturer at 740 Simms St, Golden, CO 80401. The apparatus manufacturer shall be liable for all loss and damage to Government furnished cab and chassis until completion and final acceptance of work and returned to the Government. Return of completed vehicle shall be to the location of the original pick-up. Government supplied cab and chassis shall be a: 2010 F550 4x4 Extended Cab 60" CA, DRW Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission Body color shall match that of the cab exterior, 14260 of Federal Standard 595 (FS Green) The completed apparatus described in this specification shall be compliant with the requirements of NFPA 1906, latest edition, except where noted. SEE SEPARATE ATTACHMENT FOR SPECIFICATIONS THAT MUST BE MET UNDER THE USDA FOREST SERVICE APPRATUS BODY ONLY SPECIFICATION (TYPE 6 FIRE APPRATUS) MODEL 643U DATED MARCH 2010
