- This is a special notice to inform the public of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intent to sole source a modification to an existing contract. This modification will allow for an additional 180 days in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 Option To Extend Services while preparation are made to compete a new contract. The contract was originally competitively announced and awarded. This notice of intent to award a sole source modification is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after publication of this Notice will be considered by the Government.
