- RECOVERY-PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE, FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS ONLY AVAILABLE TO SEI GROUP, INC UNDER THE CONTRACT N62473-06-D-3009. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Specialty Center Acquisitions NAVFAC (SCAN), Port Hueneme, CA intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price task order utilizing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funding under the Geothermal Energy Program. The work to be performed is for services for acquiring, processing and interpreting remote sensing data within select regions of Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon administered lands in the Carson Sink and Dixie Valley and Navy managed lands to further delineate the potential NAS Fallon Geothermal Resource and see if the aforementioned ranges could support Navy development of commercial geothermal power system, capable of supplying electricity to support Navy energy initiatives. This ARRA contract action is a Firm Fixed-Price Task Order against a competitively awarded Firm Fixed-Price Single Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This task order award is for Geothermal exploration, Lidar, Hyperspectral, Shallow Temperature Probe Surveys located at NAS Fallon, Nevada. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Specialty Center Acquisitions, NAVFAC (SCAN), Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity (contract number N62473-06-D-3009-0035).
