- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7 contemplates negotiation of sole source procurement with Interactive Control System (ICS), 5081 State Highway 7, Marlin, TX 76661 to provide maintenance, repair and software upgrades to customized interactive laundry management system located at the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. ICS is a Veteran Owned Small Business. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A)and(B), only one responsible source. The period of performance for this procurement will be from date of award through September 30, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541513 with a size standard of $25 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents will be issued. Firms that believe they can meet the VA's requirements must submit proof (company literature etc) to the Contracting Officer no later within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
