- Description
- The Veterans Integrated Service Network #04 (VISN04) Logistics Office (529 / Bldg. #1 / Rm. 333W), located at 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001-2480 is soliciting for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Replace Boilers Project (VA-244-10 -IB-0288). The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for replacement of Boilers as indicated in drawings and specifications for project #529-08-102. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Size Standard $31.0 million dollars with a Firm Fixed Price contract being anticipated. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer, via fax at (724) 477-5026 or email: paul.sims@va.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The solicitation will be issued on/about 08/13/10, with a proposal response expected to be 09/13/2010 08:30 am Local time. The estimated project dollar amount is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Offers will be accepted from only responsible and responsive contractors currently engaged in the type of work being required by this solicitation. At the bid response contractors shall provide one signed hard copy of the Bid Bond, one signed hard copy of the Bid. A Pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday 08/18/2010, at 2:00PM EST at the VA Medical Center, 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001-2480 in the main auditorium in Bldg #1. Eligible parties should be present with any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation in writing for formal response. No questions about the project will be accepted after 09/01/2010. Project duration will be 210 Days. This is a total service disabled veteran owned small business set-aside.
