- Description
- The government intends to award a contract for the Lynx Lake Campground construction. The project work includes construction of 1500 LF of paved 14' wide road. Concrete plazas and sidewalks. Excavation and backfill for 2 government furnished vault toilets and installation of 2 government furnished metal picnic shelters. Construction of tent pads with concrete edger and aggregate surfacing. Also included in this contract is work at the existing Southshore Day Use area to build a segmental concrete retaining wall, a 10 car aggregate surfaced parking area, a 4 car paved parking area and concrete sidewalks. The new group campground is located near the existing Lynx Lake Southshore Day Use area located approximately 7 miles southeast of Prescott. From Prescott, proceed east on Highway 69 toward Prescott Valley about 4 miles. Turn south on Walker Rd and go approximately 3.5 miles to the turn off to Lynx Lake Southshore Day Use Area, located on the east side of Walker Road. The new Group Campground road will begin approx. 230' from Walker Road on the left. This project will be solicited IAW FAR 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation package will be posted on or about 13 Aug 2010.
