- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) for Base Services Logistics Contract Request for Information for potential proposal on a new Base Services Logistics contract, Fiscal Year 2011 with option years: The 61 Civil Engineering and Logistics Squadron's Logistics Readiness Squadron along with the 61 Contracting Squadron at Los Angeles AFB, California is researching contractors with the capability to understand, manage and execute disciplines is the following functional areas on Los Angeles AFB, CA Supply Management: Manage and operate material items and equipment within two warehouses IAW with AFMAN 23-110, Volumes 2 and AFI 33-112. Principal materials and equipment consist primarily of deployment and mobility items (Ref: AFMAN 23-110) and warehousing and inventory and management of computer equipment (Ref: AFI 33-112) for LAAFB. Tasks will entail base-level customer service, computer support, records management, equipment management for all organizations on LAAFB. Supply Management will also support Deployment Operations in the requisitioning and supplying of mobility gear for deployment s and exercises Vehicle Operations/ Fleet Management: Manage and ensure maintenance of a vehicle Fleet of approximately 40 vehicles. Operate a Vehicle Operations Center. Provide shuttle services for group functions. Provide vehicle support (including chauffeuring) of senior military and civilian personnel Freight Traffic Management: Operate and maintain freight traffic operations including receiving and shipping IAW with DOD 4500.32-R (Military Standard Transportation and Movement Procedures), Dodd 4500.9-R (Defense Transportation Regulation, Cargo and Mobility) and AFI 24-201 (Cargo Movement) and AFI 24-202 (Preservation and Packing). Prepare and make shipments to the Defense Reclamation and Management Offices (DRMO) Medical Logistics: Maintaining and administering the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System, Prime Vendor Pharmaceutical and Medical/Surgical Interface Systems including the Stock in Forward Area (SIFA) system, Radio Frequency (RF) Forward Logistics Interface Systems, and Universal Data Repository (UDR) Complete operating knowledge of the basic following data systems: Standard Base Supply Systems (SBSS) Air Force Equipment Management Systems (AFEMS) Cargo Movement and Operating System (CMOS) Automated Stock number User Directory (ASNUD) Weapons Systems Management Information System (WSMIS) Mobility Inventory Control Accountability System (MICAS) Document Imaging System Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System Defense Automated Addressing System Power Track Packing and Crating System Single Mobility System (SMS) Global Transportation Network (GTN) Automated Inventory Management (AIM) - (for Computer Warehousing) Also, a general knowledge and understanding of the Air Force's new Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) concept.
