- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to solicit a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the design and installation of the P749 Control Room. The contractor shall design and install all equipment necessary to integrate six control rooms for a new testing facility that will perform a broad array of tests on naval weapons systems. The contractor shall provide all hardware, material, and installation efforts for a total of six identically configured dynamic test control and operation stations for testing and surveillance in the test facility. The dynamic test control rooms shall consist of the following: 24 medium and 6 large HD monitors, camera monitoring system with storage (20 fixed, 8 pan-tilt-zoom); National Instruments (NI) complete data acquisition system; LabVIEW operation and control software. The contractor shall install the control rooms and fully integrate with existing systems resulting in a complete turn-key installation. This includes running all wiring and data lines and termination of all wiring and data lines. The contractor shall fully integrate the proposed control room stations with the facility's existing equipment/assets for simultaneous operation, control, monitoring, and data gathering and storage. A solicitation with the complete State of Work will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov on or about 13 Aug 10. The solicitation will close on or about 30 Aug 10. Award is anticipated on or about 28 Sep 10. Responses must include all information requested in the solicitation. Delivery will be FOB destination, 6 months after award of contract. Destination is China Lake, CA. To receive any contract award, contractors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and complete electric annual representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered.
