Description
Work consists of furnishing all plant labor materials. Equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision and all else required to prepare and landscape the exterior of various facilities at Nellis Air Force Base and Creech Air Force Base, Nevada. During the contract period, Civil Engineering will prepare Statements of Work and identify estimated line item quantities required to complete each specific job and Base Contracting will issue individual task orders to the contractor to complete those jobs. The performance period is for a basic one year period with four additional option years. The minimum task order amount will be $10,000. The minimum guaranteed amount is $25,000 for the basic year only. The maximum contract amount is $1,900,000. Proposals will be evaluated based on past performance/price trade-off procedures, resulting in the Best Value of the Government. The proposed contract type is firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910 with a size standard of $14 million. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 13 August 2010, on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Effective 01 Jan, 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process. All prospective contractors submitting an offer in response to the subject solicitation must go to http://www.bpn.gov/ to add or update its ORCA record.
