- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for a vendor to digitize 45 volumes of the Historic Records Collection of the Fort Ord Panorama newspapers and to create searchable PDFs of each volume. There are 2 sizes of the Panorama newspapers, 11x17 & 17x22. There are approximately 10,200 pages of 11x17 volumes and approximately 8,000 pages of 17 x 22 volumes. The Panorama newspapers must be scanned bounded without removing the binding of each edition. Solicitation number W9124N-10-T-0110 will be available on or about 4 August 2010. Proposals are due Monday, 16 August 2010 at 10:00 am (PDT) This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541519 with a size standard of $25M. A Firm-Fixed-Price type contract is contemplated. Additional information will be included in solicitation number W9124N-10-T-0110, which will be available on or about 4 August 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page. NO paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (www.ccr.gov), prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. No paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished.
