Description
Questions for Solicitation W912CN10R0070 1. Is the government looking for multiple vendors for this solicitation? Answer: No. 2. Is the current vendor eligible to bid? Answer:Yes. 3. Since we are required to submit past performance questionnaires is it possible to extend the response date? Answer: No. 4. The RFP requests past performance questionnaires AND work experience references. Do we understand correctly that we are to submit both? Or are they intended to be one and the same? Answer:Refer to the Solicitation W912CN10R0070 Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Submission of Proposal, II. Proposal Contents, 5. Performance Risk, Sub-Factor (a) and Sub-Factor (b). 5. When do you require the curriculum to be ready for delivery? Answer: Curriculum for Customer Service and Growing Leaders drafts should be ready for review NLT 23 August 2010. Finalized curriculum for Customer Service and Growing Leaders are to be delivered by 03 September 2010. Curriculum for the Enhancing Leaders and Adjunct Instructor Course should be ready for review by 15 September 2010, finalized and delivered by 30 September 2010. 6. Are you requiring the contractor to teach each course only once and then hand it off to be taught by one of the identified Adjunct Instructors? Or will the contractor be teaching courses multiple times during the course of the contract? Answer: The contractor is expected to provide instructors for all classes throughout the the contract period. 7. Can you estimate how many total employees need training (please break down per training course if possible) and how many adjunct instructors you would like trained? Answer: An estimate of 300 employees will enroll in courses for the base period. An estimate to offer 10 Customer Service courses and two Growing Leaders courses for the base period is expected. Each course except for the Adjunct Instructors course will have 25 employees registered per class. 8. How many instructors are you requiring the contractor to provide? Answer: The number of instructors is a contractors internal decision. 9. Did we understand correctly that a company called Think has been the current incumbent for a base plus four-year contract? Answer: Th!nk has been awarded the previous contract which included a base year and four option years. 10. What is the contract number for the current contract? Answer: The Current Contract Number is W912CN-09-D-0009 11. When does the current contract expire? Answer: The Current Contract is completed. 12. Is the current contract worth $2,027,876 per year or for the entire five year period? Answer: The current contract awarded was $2,027,876 for the entire five year period. 13. Does the government plan to re-use the curriculum from the original contractor or have everything re-created from scratch? Answer: A new curriculum was developed for this requirement. 14. Are the amount of courses/classes and schedule similar to the current contract? Answer: No. A new curriculum was developed for this requirement. 15. The synopsis states that the period of performance is for 12-months plus 2 pre-priced 12-month options. Can you define pre-priced? Answer: Pre-Priced is the amount the offeror will propose per each line item in the solicitation to include option years. 16. Will there be a compilation of all Q & A posted? Answer: Yes.
