- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Army, TACOM Contracting Center, Warren is releasing a combined synopsis/solicitation as means to announce the procurement described below and to request for proposal(s). The Government intends to negotiate and award a contract to Kiddie Dual Spectrum (CAGE:05BU0) for the procurement of 1,290 crew and engine compartment AFES retrofit kits through contract modification of an existing contract (W56HZV-09-C-0577), on a firm fixed price and sole source basis. NOTE: This requirement is Other Than Full and Open Competition, in accordance with U.S.C 2304(C)(1), FAR 6.302-1(a), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
