- This action has been awarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of2009. In compliance with this Act, the Government posts this notice that modification 3to contract NNJ09JA25C was awarded to update Specification Section III H. Fire Protectionto add the requirement to: <P>1. Provide 2 hour fire rated cementitious passive fire protection with mesh for the fullheight of the 12 structural columns, with a white acrylic topcoat, meeting 409 NationalFire Protection Association (NFPA) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 1709 requirements. <P>2. Provide racks for electrical, fire suppression, air and other utilities to avoidfastening to the passively protected structural columns. <P>NNJ09JA25C is a firm fixed price contract that was awarded to Specpro EnvironmentalServices LLC. under the Small Business Administration 8(a) program, using the PartnershipAgreement between NASA and the Small Business Administration in accordance with FAR 19.8and the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5).
