Description
NASA/KSC has a requirement for two Hewlett Packard (HP) certified training courses,uCMDB Essentials 5 day onsite course, and HP Discovery and Dependency Mapping InventoryVer. 7.6 Workshop 3 day onsite course. This training is to equip personnel with theskills to roll out the Agency data center consolidation software to all Centers and totrain Center systems administrators and work troubleshooting issues. All courses must beheld at NASA Kennedy Space Center prior to September 30, 2010. Course dates will becoordinated after award. These courses shall be back to back within a two week timeperiod. Courses shall be taught by a HP Certified Federal Partner.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation,which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and awritten solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercialitem using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part13. The provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-44. This solicitationis a small business set-aside. Quote shall include a breakout of pricing for all servicesrequested; including separate pricing for each training course, and a break out ofpricing for instructor travel and related expenses (if applicable). A single award willbe made for all items; multiple awards will not be made to this solicitation. All offerors must have an active Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and registered inORCA. This information can be found at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/ andhttps://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced,technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review ofinformation submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficientdetail to show that the products offered meets the Government's requirements.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing to Donny Wood, OP-OS,Kennedy Space Center FL 32899, donald.wood@nasa.gov no later than August 2, 2010.Offerors will submit quotes via email to the address above by 7:00 AM, EST August 5,2010. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release ofamendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copyof this notice, and amendments (if any). An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASASpecific Note 'B'.
