Description
The Florida Army National Guard needs a Childcare provider that can facilitate care of Children between the ages of 0 through 12. The Childcare service will be provided at the site of the events. Locations will vary throughout the State of Florida. All of the events are held during the weekends. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This Sources Sought (SS) is for information and planning purposes only and is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The Florida National Guard is currently requesting information in order to determine the existence of viable small business sources that are interested and capable of performing the work described herein. Responses are welcomed from all interested and capable small business firms. This SS is not restricted to a particular socioeconomic program and/or business size. The Florida National Guard does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses received as a result of this SS. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this SS. As a result of this Sources Sought, the Florida National Guard may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). THERE IS NO SOLICIATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. ***In an effort to foster more effective and efficient contracting vehicles to accommodate the increasing requests, the Government intends to award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA)s for child care. The BPAs for childcare service will be established in following locations: Northeast Florida, Northwest Florida, Central Florida, Southeast Florida and Southwest Florida. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services as set forth below and in the attached Performance Work Statement. A copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) pertaining to this requirement shall be available for review and shall be provided upon request. Responses to the SS shall be received no later than 12:00 PM local time on August 3, 2010. Interested firms are encouraged to: 1. Evaluate and challenge all elements of the PWS. 2. Identify requirements that account for a high percentage of total cost or are unduly restrictive. 3. Identify techniques or methods that would result in delivery of better service. 4. Identify any new technology approach or technique appropriate for the procurement described in the PWS that would result in a better performing contract or in cost savings to either party. The intended Basic Purchase Agreement is a base year with four option years. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 624110. The small Business Size Standard is $7.0 M. Statement should include your firms general background, experience, qualifications, and industry specific awards.
