- The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Contracting and General Services, Albuquerque, New Mexico intends to make a firm fixed price, sole source award to Western EcoSystems Technology Inc., Cheyenne, Wyoming to complete Golden Eagle Populations Survey in the western states of the United States. This acquisition is to continue the Golden Eagle Survey initiated with Western EcoSystems in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. An additional year of population data to further test and refine the survey protocol for use in a future long-term Golden Eagle monitoring program is required. This sole source award would provide the project continuity of service and protocol standardization. Survey methodology and analytical procedure used in previous survey are proprietary in nature. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Pre-Solicitation Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 4:00 p.m. MST, August 11, 2010 will be considered by the Government.
