- The Veterans Affairs (VA), Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a requirement to procure services to store and transport open individually slotted media. The contractor shall supply an insured, licensed, and bonded facility or set of facilities near each CMOP facility that meet NIST standards. These storage facilities must be capable of storing 700 open individually slotted media. The contractor will transport the media from up to seven different locations nationwide: Tucson, AZ; Hines, IL, Chelmsford, MA; Charleston, SC; Murfreesboro, TN; Lancaster, TX; and Leavenworth, KS to a storage facility of such distance not to be affected by the same natural disaster as the on-site CMOP however; the media must be able to be returned in a four hour time frame if needed. The media will be transported to the facility on a weekly basis and rotated as required per each CMOP facility. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, support, travel and all other items needed to perform services in connection with this activity. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 518210 and the small business size standard is $25 million. This solicitation is unrestricted. The Government anticipates awarding a requirements contract for one base year and four (4) one (1) year options. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work that will be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. More than one award may be issued for this solicitation. Solicitation Package VA-797M-10-RP-0152 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or about July 28, 2010. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor Fedbizopps for changes or amendments.
