- The USNS GRAPPLE (T-ARS 53) will be replacing the Stern Tube Seal commencing in Oct. 2010. Wartsila Defense, Inc. is the OEM MGPS and has possession of design data, material specifications and historical operating parameters relating to the service and manufacture of the repair parts of the Tugs and Rescue Ships. This is an intended sole source award.
