Proposed Solicitation Number: The RFQ and attachments related to this acquisition will be made available via the Internet at http://www.aqd.nbc.gov/Business/openmarket.aspx under RFP number D10PS18496.Closing Response Date: 25 August 2010Questions shall be submitted no later than 2:00pm ET on 11 August 2010. Responses to questions will be posted via amendment to the solicitation. If it should be converted to a permanent program Place of Contract Performance: Contractor's Facility Set-aside Status: 100% Small Business Set AsideDuration of the contract period: The period of performance is from the date of contract award through the final report. The Contractor shall propose the period of performance, allowing a minimum of 30 business days review for each deliverable proposed. The approximate period of performance for this effort is six (6) months. This announcement is being posted in accordance with FAR Part 5.207 and FAR Part 12.601 and FAR Part 15.200. The Department of the Interior (DOI), National Business Center (NBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) - Herndon is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency (RMA) for the evaluation of the Cultivated Clam Pilot Insurance Program. This requirement is being procured as a full and open competition. The resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Details regarding this solicitation may be found at the Acquisition Services Directorate Website at http://www.aqd.nbc.gov/Business/openmarket.aspx under RFQ number D10PS18496. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in accordance with RFQ instructions to be considered for award of any resultant contract.
