- The National Capital Region Contracting Center, on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Cost & Economics (ODASA-CE) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Calibre Systems, Inc, 6354 Walker Lane, Alexandria, VA 22310-3252. Calibre Systems, Inc will provide technical support services in the concentrated areas of cost and economic analysis of major weapon system programs and associated acquisition/financial management policies and procedures of the Department of Defense (DoD). This effort supports ODASA-CE to meet unmet operational needs in the area of Future Technology Systems, Financial Management and Operations, and General Lot for cost and economic acquisition/financial management policies and procedures of the Department of Defense (DoD). This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with a Period of Performance 16 September 2010 through 15 March 2011. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no RFP available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a Capability Statement to the Contract Specialist via email at Na.Lin@us.army.mil no later than 2 August 2010. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
