Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main Street, PO Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06615-9129 for the the recurring material and labor costs to modify (2) MH-60S aircraft from the U.S. Navy configuration to the Royal Thailand Navy configuration.. This firm fixed price contract will be awarded as an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-08-G-0010. The period of performance is five (5) months. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;" because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
