- Description
- DISA/DITCO, intends to issue a sole source contract to Systemware, Inc., 15301 Dallas Parkway, Suite 1100, Addison, TX 75001-6682. This acquisition is for a follow-on procurement effort to renew the expiring software licensing and maintenance support for Systemware, Inc., software products for DISA Computing Services Logistics. Systemware has proprietary rights to the software code for the Systemware products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software, and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws. The period of performance is 01 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304( c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance renewal must request a copy of the solicitation via email to lynn.buss@disa.mil. Responses are due by 2:00 P.M. (Central Time) on 02 August 2010. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.
