- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a full and open competition Request for Proposal (RFP) for air and surface deployable Autonomous Profiling circulation explorer (APEX) Profiling Floats, Teledyne Webb Model ASSY 023 or equal in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Salient Characteristics, to be provided with the NAVOCEANO issued solicitation N62306-10-R-3012. A single award firm fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type contract with a twelve month base ordering period plus two (2) twelve month options is anticipated. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted, full and open competition basis under North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Devices with the business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement for commercial supplies will be processed utilizing procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 15. It is the Government's intent to award a single contract to the offerors providing the best overall value to the Government, price and other non-price factors considered. All contractors submitting bids, quotes, or proposals on DOD solicitations must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Wide Area Work Flow at https://wawf.eb.mil prior to award of the contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Naval Oceanographic Office. Firms submitting a response under this solicitation will be required to submit written technical and price proposals, in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about 11 Aug 2010 and will be posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce On-line (NECO) website at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Interested parties should independently review the referenced web link frequently for updates to any/all documents. Potential offerors are responsible for download of the solicitation and/or amendments (if any). Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
