- In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5, this synopsis is posted for the United States Department of the Interior (DOI) Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement (BOEMRE) Procurement Operations Branch (POB) Contracting Office for this procurement. This synopsis is to announce the Governments intent to award a sole source to AT&T Telecommunications Inc., in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agencys requirements. BOEMRE/POB anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to AT&T Telecommunications, Inc., with a Base period of 12 months and Option Period of 12 months with a total period of performance of 24 months to continue the PRI Promotional Agreement between AT&T and BOEMRE through Jan 2012. The anticipated cost for each period is $147,000 with an estimated total of $294,000 for 24 months. The anticipated award date is no later than 16 Aug 2010. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, any and all technical data and information received by the point of contact (POC) listed below; by close of business 28 Jul 2010 will be considered for the purpose of market research by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
